ACCESS & INCLUSION

We welcome all visitors to Festival of Voices events and make every effort to ensure the program is accessible and inclusive to our whole audience.  We understand there are many guests with varying requirements and want to ensure the highest possible levels of customer service. Please find information below regarding the current accessibility availabilities in place for our festival and please contact us for additional information or any queries.

How to book tickets

Booking online

Book via our website by accessing the event page of your choice and navigating to the orange ‘BOOK NOW’ button.

Booking by phone

Call our Ticketing Team on (03) 6224 5975 to have them process a ticket order for you.

Booking via the National Relay Service:

You can also reach the Festival of Voices Ticketing Team through the National Relay Service (relayservice.gov.au) at no additional charge.

Companion Card Holders

If you hold a current Companion Card, you are eligible for a second ticket for free.  Contact our friendly ticketing team using any of the above methods for assistance.

Wheelchair Bookings

For wheelchair bookings please contact the festival with specifications and dimensions of the wheelchair and any additional user requirements.

Assistive Listening

This icon indicates that a hearing loop is available at the event.

Language is No Barrier

This indicates that an event can be meaningfully engaged with, without a comprehensive understanding of the English Language.  We know what you’re thinking… this is a music festival, right? You’re right. However, we believe that the power of music can be deeply appreciated by any person, no matter what first language they may speak.

Auslan Interpretation

Physical Assistance

This icon indicates that physical assistance is required for wheelchair users at this venue.

Wheelchair Accessibility

This icon indicates that the event venue is wheelchair accessible.

Parenting Space

This phrase indicates that there will be a space available on this event site for families to use including the following; close proximity to bathrooms and changing facilities, access to wash up facilities and drinking water, seats for feeding, and the best bit: a bit of distance from the main action of the event site.

Guide Dogs, Service Animals and Facilities

All Guide Dogs and service animals are welcome at Festival of Voices events.

This icon indicates that water bowls for Guide Dogs and service animals are available at this event upon request.

In December 2020 Festival of Voices received the Rainbow Tasmania Tourism Accreditation. We are committed to offering an inclusive environment for both festival patrons and employees.

Acessibility Information Available

Festival of Voices is accredited through The Accessible Tourism program, recognising our efforts to meet the criteria and offer support for those who need it. This applies to individuals requiring support for cognitive needs, limited mobility, low hearing, low vision, plus wheelchair and scooter users.
