Featuring 11 contrasting vocal ensembles representing capital cities and regional areas around Australia, there is something for everyone in these five, weekday concerts.

In the beautiful  Hobart Town Hall, enjoy the vibrancy and variety of choral music presented by these passionate singers.

This concert series is a popular, all-inclusive event, giving everyone the opportunity to hear choral excellence at an affordable price.

A hearing loop is available at this venue. The technology requires the listener to wear a receiver on a lanyard and to insert an earpiece. Please contact the festival if you require the use of one of these devices, as availability is limited. 

Guide Dogs/registered assistance animals welcome

Wheelchair accessibility

  • For wheelchair bookings, please contact the festival with the specifications and dimensions of the wheelchair and any additional user requirements. 
  • The Hobart Town Hall Ballroom on level 1 is accessible to wheelchair users via a lift on the ground floor, located to the right of the staircase. The lift is also accessible via the rear car park and requires interaction with an intercom to gain access. This car park is accessible from Elizabeth Street. Please see the entryway to this car park here 
  • Accessible bathrooms are available on the ground floor of the Hobart Town Hall only. 

Casey Choir

Casey Choir came into being in April 1998 with the intention of performing a varied and exciting program of music from many different genres. They are a soprano/alto choir, open to all women who love to sing. The choir is based in the City of Casey, in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

The choir has a high profile in the City of Casey, performing frequently for the local community at a range of civic events, as well as their two annual concerts in the area. Outside of Casey, the choir performs at festivals such as Choral@Montsalvat, Woodend Choral Marathon, and Voices of Women. They have recorded one CD, "Birds Of A Feather".

This is Casey Choir's fourth appearance at the Festival of Voices.

Casey Choir are directed by Simon Loveless, and accompanied by Adrian Allen

UPLIFT COMMUNITY CHOIRS

Uplift Community Choirs have been delighting audiences throughout Southern Tasmania with their gorgeous harmonies and joy of shared song. Lead by Tasmanian songstress Audrey Lonergan Rowe from The Clementines, Uplift will share a collection of songs celebrating love, family and the power of community singing.
