Gather your mates, bring the family, and don’t forget to pack a puffer jacket to join the Country Pub Chorus! Local legends, The Wolfe Brothers, will lead an epic singalong of your favourite country pub classics.

The revered country duo, comprised of brothers Nick and Tom Wolfe, have become renowned for their impressive live shows and steady ascent to Australian country music’s upper echelon. Their rise has been due to talent and a lot of hard work, but there’s also the fact that music is in The Wolfe Brothers’ blood. “We come from four generations of farmers and musicians,” Nick explains. Their father, the man who encouraged them to start playing and helped facilitate their first shows in their early teens, was a rock drummer. Their grandfather played saxophone, touring around Tasmania with a family band, and his father — Nick and Tom’s great-grandfather — was a fiddle player. So, to say that The Wolfe Brothers’ story begins anywhere except four generations ago would be disingenuous; it would be ignoring the tides of history.

If the musical gene was already in Nick and Tom’s DNA, their parents brought it to full bloom. Their father guided Nick to the guitar and Tom to the piano, perhaps with “the intention of starting a band with us,” as Tom says. And their mother filled the family home with music, exposing her children to 90s country staples like Garth Brooks and Billy Ray Cyrus. It was almost inevitable that the Wolfe family home would produce two of Australia’s finest country musicians.

The Wolfe Brothers

It has been an amazing 12 year ride for The Wolfe Brothers. They first found fame on Australia’s Got Talent, and after placing second they were signed to a management company, followed by a recording contract and then were hired by Lee Kernaghan to open all of his shows and also to play in his band, a working relationship that lasted 10 years. After what the brothers describe as the best possible apprenticeship any band could have and learning so much from Lee The Wolfe Brothers have achieved over their career four #1 and two #2 ARIA Country Albums that have delivered 19 #1 singles on the National Country Music Chart. With nine Golden Guitars under their belt and 4 ARIA nominations they are now Australia’s most awarded country rock duo in history. After being nominated for 6 Golden Guitars at the 2024 Country Music Awards the duo took home 3 of the coveted Golden statues. The brothers from Tasmania have travelled countless road miles in Australia, USA and Canada. 2023 saw The Wolfe Brothers take their Livin’ The Dream Tour all around Australia igniting audiences with their high energy live show that never fails to impress. 2024 will see new music and plenty of what they love doing the most - playing live all around Australia.
