    Radical Son: Bilambiyal

An intimate performance celebrating culture through music

Radical Son is a highly skilled artist, renowned for his magnetic performances, spell-binding vocals and a style that fuses hip hop, soul and a powerful connection to Country and his cultural roots, Radical Son is from the Kamilaroi nation of Australia and the South Pacific nation of Tonga. Radical Son’s new album, Bilambiyal, was crafted alongside a powerhouse team, including Marcus Longfoot, Andy Robinson, David Bridie, Frank Yamma, Emma Donovan, Benny Walker and many more.

It showcases Radical Son’s cultural connection, innate integrity and powerful perception across its 13 tracks, with Radical Son exclusively sharing an insightful album track by track with Rolling Stone AU upon release.

Even though I wish I’d had a stronger connection to Culture and Country. Even though there was a real disconnect and Culture and Country was not something I had a deep understanding of, still so much of my music is about my mob, my culture, my heritage. With almost 20 years now as an artist, I’ve stayed true to the game. I’ve stayed true to my mob. I’ve stayed true to myself. I really hope that message comes through in my songs. – Radical Son

Radical Son has one of those voices that stays with you. It stops you in your tracks, forcing you to listen and pay attention. Radical Son is such a compelling artist, and in this album, he shares wisdom and talent so freely. – Sounds of Oz

    Our pricing model

As a non-profit, we prioritise bringing singing and music to our communities, not maximising income. We work to make our ticket prices as affordable as possible, and we’ve shifted to an early bird pricing model instead of concession pricing. This change focuses on equity, allowing everyone to secure tickets at a reduced price and helping us keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.

Each event will have a set number of tickets available at the early bird price. Once these are sold, standard prices will apply. This ensures we can cover event costs while keeping the festival sustainable and maintaining affordable options for our audiences.
