    Concert series: Thank God It's Friday (SA)

    Voices@5 brings outstanding choral music to the heart of Hobart. 

    Showcasing a vibrant mix of vocal ensembles from capital cities and regional communities across Australia, each concert offers its own distinctive sound and style – from intimate and expressive to bold and uplifting. 

    Set in the beautiful Hobart Town Hall, this much-loved series celebrates the richness and diversity of choral singing and offers audiences the chance to enjoy entertaining and captivating performances in a welcoming, affordable and inclusive setting.  

    There is truly something for everyone – come for one concert or savour the variety and hear them all! 

    Our final Voices@5 concert for the week features Thank God It’s Friday (TGIF!) from Adelaide. This talented vocal ensemble of eight neurodivergent and learning-disabled singers will present an exciting mix of popular cover songs and creative medleys, all delivered with warmth, joy and beautiful harmonies.  TGIF offers a heartfelt and uplifting finale to our much-loved Voices@5 program.

    General admission tickets $20

    Booking fee

    • For bookings with a total value of $30 or less, a booking fee of $4 will be added upon checkout.
    • For bookings with a total value between $30.01 and $199.99, a booking fee of $6 will be added upon checkout.
    • For bookings with a total value of $200 or more, a booking fee of $11 will be added upon checkout.

    FEAT. Live Solar Slice $1 per transaction

    Festival of Voices is proudly partnering with climate impact organisation FEAT. Live! $1 will be donated from every booking fee to the ‘Solar Slice’ initiative.

    This contribution will support an indigenous-led biodiversity restoration program on Lungtalanana Island, Tasmania, aiming to restore habitat for the Bass Strait Wombat and the Long-Nosed Potoroo and reintroduce these species to the island.

    The project is led by the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre and supported by GreenCollar, WWF, and FEAT. Live. You can read more info on this project here.
