Festival of Voices

    Speed Dating with Composers Workshop

A singing workshop & performance opportunity with Daniel Townsend, Jenny Mitchell & Meg Washington

Spend a high‑energy day of music‑making with three acclaimed artists, Daniel Townsend, Jenny Mitchell and Meg Washington, and bring songs to life in a single-day workshop and performance outcome.

You will rotate through focused, hands‑on sessions with each artist, supported by Alex Morse (Exhale Choir). You’ll learn directly from the songwriters, hear the stories behind their work and prepare pieces to share with a live audience in a special evening concert.

There are no auditions, and all voice types are welcome. This is an inviting, collaborative day designed for singers who enjoy learning quickly, working closely with artists and experiencing the thrill of performing together.

Throughout the day, you’ll explore new music, rehearse with your choir that’s been built from the day, and shape a polished performance in time for the evening event: a joyful celebration of creativity, connection, and collective sound.

If you’re interested in attending the concert, you can find all the details here:

    Our pricing model

As a non-profit, we prioritise bringing singing and music to our communities, not maximising income. We work to make our ticket prices as affordable as possible, and we’ve shifted to an early bird pricing model instead of concession pricing. This change focuses on equity, allowing everyone to secure tickets at a reduced price and helping us keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.

Each event will have a set number of tickets available at the early bird price. Once these are sold, standard prices will apply. This ensures we can cover event costs while keeping the festival sustainable and maintaining affordable options for our audiences.
