Festival of Voices

    A Choral Soirée

An exceptional choral experience at Parliament House

In 2026, Festival of Voices’ beloved A Choral Soirée finds a stunning new home. With the traditional Government House concert on pause during the change of Governor, we are delighted to present this intimate choral concert in the Reception Room at Parliament House.

This special event will feature the internationally acclaimed Auckland Youth Choir under the direction of David Squire, renowned for their luminous sound, precision, and deeply expressive performances. Expect a beautifully curated program that showcases the choir’s exceptional musicianship and cultural heritage in one of Hobart’s most distinguished spaces.

Two ticket options are available. Premium tickets are priced at $85 and include reserved seating, a complimentary glass of bubbly at the conclusion of the concert, and the opportunity to mingle with fellow VIP guests. Please note that premium availability is strictly limited. General admission tickets are available for $59.

A Choral Soirée offers a rare opportunity to experience Festival of Voices at its most refined and intimate. This is a concert for those who treasure musical excellence in an atmosphere of true occasion. With only 80 tickets available, don’t miss out!

    Duration

This event goes for 1 hour. Those who purchased a Premium ticket are then invited to stay along for a complimentary glass of bubbles and the opportunity to mingle with fellow VIP guests until 7:30 pm.
