    Sing ’n Sip – Cockney Knees-up

Singalong to London Music Hall tunes with Katie Pryce

Get ready to kick your knees up and sing along to the classic songs of the London Music Halls at Sing ’n Sip – Cockney Knees-Up with Katie Pryce. Join Katie, a native Londoner, as she leads the fun from the ol’ Joanna, bringing the joy of the Cockney singalong straight to the stage. Whether you’re familiar with the iconic tunes like “Down the Strand,” “The Lambeth Walk,” or “I’ve Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts,” or if this is your first time hearing them, Katie’s infectious enthusiasm will have you singing with gusto in no time.

Katie will be accompanied by her choir, Glee West, who will be supporting and performing alongside you throughout the evening. Glee West, led by Katie, is known for its inclusive and enjoyable approach to singing, creating an atmosphere where everyone is welcome to join in—whether you’re a seasoned singer or a first-timer. There’s no long-term commitment, uniforms, or attendance requirements with Glee West; it’s all about coming together for the fun of it!

In this one-off Sing ’n Sip event, you’ll be clapping, dancing, and singing along as if you’ve been part of these lively singalongs for years. Alongside the music, there might even be some Cockney trivia mixed in, so keep your wits about you, and don’t forget about the chance to win  best costume—so dress up in your finest Cockney attire and get into the spirit of the event.

It’s a celebration of music, community, and the spirit of the London music halls – all with a hearty dose of Cockney charm. So, grab a drink at the bar, join the chorus, and let the good times roll in this upbeat and inclusive event. You’ll be swept up in the energy and joy, kicking your knees up and singing a storm, just like the singalongs of old.

[Katie] is passionate about making music accessible to all and has created many projects… her main aim is always to de-mystify music, make it fun and have a laugh at the same time. – Glee Club Singing

    Our pricing model

As a non-profit, we prioritise bringing singing and music to our communities, not maximising income. We work to make our ticket prices as affordable as possible, and we’ve shifted to an early bird pricing model instead of concession pricing. This change focuses on equity, allowing everyone to secure tickets at a reduced price and helping us keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.

Each event will have a set number of tickets available at the early bird price. Once these are sold, standard prices will apply. This ensures we can cover event costs while keeping the festival sustainable and maintaining affordable options for our audiences.
