Hobart City High School Vocal Group
Youth Choir (TAS)
The Hobart City High School Vocal Group is made up of students from year 7 to10 and rehearse on Tuesday mornings before school under the direction of Simon Reade.
The vocal group has performed at various events including the Festival of Voices and the John Turnball Carols, have workshopped with acclaimed directors from across Australia and performed live on ABC radio. At the 2024 Hobart Eisteddfod the vocal group was runner up in the Year 12 and under Choral Group.
This year many of the senior members of the vocal group are also working toward Hobart City High School’s musical production, “Popstars”.
