Music Theatre Choir Workshop

2025 Music Theatre Choir Workshop

Choir and musical theatre – the perfect combination!

Wed 2 – Fri 4 July

Venue to be confirmed

From $280

Join us for the ultimate Music Theatre Choir Workshop!

Get ready to immerse yourself in the exhilarating world of musical theatre. This workshop combines the power of choral singing with the magic of the stage, offering an unforgettable experience where you’ll do more than learn music – you’ll bring it to life.

Imagine hitting those soaring harmonies, nailing the tricky rhythms, and diving deep into the emotion and humour of your favourite show tunes. Whether you’re an experienced performer or just curious about stepping into the spotlight, this workshop is your chance to shine!

From bold vocal solos to spirited group numbers, and even a touch of choreography, you’ll be challenged, entertained, and inspired as you explore all the fun, drama, and flair that musical theatre has to offer. It’s more than just a rehearsal room – it’s a place where our voices will come together to tell powerful stories, connect through music, and to celebrate the joy of performing as you take part in a major Festival concert to culminate the workshop.

If you love the energy of the stage and the thrill of singing in a group, this is the workshop for you. Come be a part of something special, and walk away with new skills, new friends, and memories that will last long after the final note fades.

“There’s nothing quite like the rush of bringing music theatre to life with a choir. Choirs and musicals have always been two constants in my life, and bringing them together in this workshop will be an absolute joy. The Music Theatre Choir workshop is all about stepping into that world together, creating something extraordinary, and having an absolute blast in the process. I can’t wait to explore that magic with you – it’s going to be an amazing journey!”

(Adam Majsay, October 2024)

Our pricing model

As a non-profit, we prioritise bringing singing and music to our communities, not maximising income. We work to make our ticket prices as affordable as possible, and we’re shifting to an early bird pricing model instead of concession pricing. This change focuses on equity, allowing everyone to secure tickets at a reduced price and helping us keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.

Each event will have a set number of tickets available at the early bird price. Once these are sold, standard prices will apply. This ensures we can cover event costs while keeping the festival sustainable and maintaining affordable options for our audiences.
