Arrive early and start the Festival fun with a three-day East Coast adventure from 30 June – 2 July, travelling from Launceston to Hobart via beaches, forests, and wide-open landscapes. Designed for individuals or groups, this journey weaves together shared singing moments with curated regional experiences, offering a relaxed and immersive way to explore Tasmania’s stunning East Coast. Â
Along the way, you’ll enjoy informal singing opportunities in unexpected and beautiful settings, and take part in experiences that are specific to the region. Highlights include a hosted singalong movie night at Easy Tiger Brewery, a visit to the the iconic Bay of Fires, and a Pennicott Wineglass Bay Tour.
The tour runs for three days and includes all coach transport from Launceston Airport /CBD to Hobart CBD, curated local experiences, and opportunities to sing together. Accommodation can be arranged through our booking platform. Accessibility and dietary needs will be supported wherever possible.
Guided by a host, this tour is about participation and joy through singing rather than performance. Whether you’re a confident singer or love the sound of voices coming together, you’ll discover the East Coast in a welcoming, low-pressure way.

Day 1 – Tuesday – June 30
8.30am – Launceston pick up (location to be advised)
Cataract Gorge cafe (welcome and tour overview) – Dramatic cliffs and river views – wild nature just minutes from the city.
Lilydale Falls – A magical easy, short forest walk leading to twin waterfalls hidden in lush greenery.
Derby and Dorset Hotel for lunch – A buzzing historic town known for mountain biking trails and relaxed rustic charm. Refuel at a classic country pub full of character.
Binalong Bay, Bay of Fires – Dazzling white beaches, turquoise water, and fiery orange rocks –Tasmania at its most breathtaking.
Easy Tiger Brewery – movie night and singalong – Kick back with craft beer, good tunes, and a fun movie night atmosphere.
Accommodation – Bayside Hotel, St Helen’s (accommodation not included, but can be booked on our website to receive discounted rate)

Day 2 – Wednesday – July 1
Life Buoy Cafe – A cosy local favourite – great coffee and a laid-back coastal vibe.
East Coast Nature World Wildlife Park – Get up close with Tassie’s wildlife – kangaroos, wombats, and the iconic Tasmanian devil.
Lobster Shack – Bicheno – Fresh-from-the-ocean seafood in a casual, seaside setting (non-seafood options available).
Blowhole – Bicheno – Watch waves explode through rock in this powerful coastal spectacle.
Douglas Apsley Gorge – Bicheno – Wild and rugged – deep gorges, flowing rivers, and untamed bushland.

Day 3 – Thursday – July 2
Freycinet National Park – One of Tasmania’s most iconic parks, known for pink granite peaks, secluded bays, and stunning coastal walks.
Pennicott Wineglass Bay Tour – Enjoy an immersive coastal and wildlife experience with a visit to the world-famous Wineglass Bay with its perfect curved shoreline, white sand and turquoise water.
Mayfield Estate – Sip cool-climate wines with sweeping vineyard views.
7.00pm (approximately) – Arrive at Salamanca, Hobart
