    Tom Thum

World‑renowned beatbox phenomenon, live on stage

Prepare to have everything you thought you knew about the human voice turned upside down. With more than half a billion views across his live performance videos, Tom Thum is widely regarded as one of the world’s most extraordinary beatboxers. His ability to conjure entire sound worlds using only his vocal cords has left audiences from New York to Kuala Lumpur wondering, “how is that even possible?”

In this one hour show, Tom builds a full sonic universe right in front of you – from symphony‑level orchestrations and jazz club grooves to 80s synths, techno pulses and an entire line‑up of seemingly impossible sounds.

Propelled to global fame through his 2013 TEDx performance at the Sydney Opera House – now the most‑watched TEDx talk of all time with over 75 million views – Tom has become known for stretching the limits of what the human voice can do. His shows are funny, clever, mind‑bending and completely unforgettable.

Part music, part theatre, part “did-he-just-do-that?”, this is a rare chance to experience a true vocal phenomenon live. Strap in – you won’t believe your ears.

    Our pricing model

As a non-profit, we prioritise bringing singing and music to our communities, not maximising income. We work to make our ticket prices as affordable as possible, and we’ve shifted to an early bird pricing model instead of concession pricing. This change focuses on equity, allowing everyone to secure tickets at a reduced price and helping us keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.

Each event will have a set number of tickets available at the early bird price. Once these are sold, standard prices will apply. This ensures we can cover event costs while keeping the festival sustainable and maintaining affordable options for our audiences.
