    Sing ‘n Sip: Travis Hennessey

    Fun, relaxed, community-driven, and judgement-free

Come and warm up with a drink in hand as we dive into a simple, feel‑good group arrangement of songs everyone loves. At this relaxed session, Travis Hennessy will guide the group through gentle vocal warm‑ups and accessible techniques before teaching an arrangement of a fabulous pop, rock or modern track.

And here’s the best part: no singing skills are required. In true Sing ’n’ Sip style, the bar for entry is wonderfully low. Whether you sing in the shower, hum along in the car or have only ever dreamed of joining a choir, you’re in exactly the right place. This session is all about enjoying the moment, connecting with others and feeling good – not aiming for perfection.

With a drink in hand and a lyrics sheet ready to go, you’ll be part of a room full of voices celebrating the simple magic of singing together. It’s your chance to let loose, sing loud and soak up the good vibes in a completely welcoming space.

If you’ve ever been to Choir in the Pub at the Royal Oak in Launceston, you’ll already know the kind of joy Travis brings. His sessions are famous for being fun, relaxed, community‑driven and totally judgement‑free. Expect the same energy here: encouraging, easygoing and full of laughter.

Travis will lead you through songs you know and love, making everything feel achievable – even if you’ve never sung in a group before.

So grab your friends, warm up those vocal cords and settle in for a couple of hours of pure joy. Sing, sip and soak up the good vibes with us.

    Our pricing model

As a non-profit, we prioritise bringing singing and music to our communities, not maximising income. We work to make our ticket prices as affordable as possible, and we’ve shifted to an early bird pricing model instead of concession pricing. This change focuses on equity, allowing everyone to secure tickets at a reduced price and helping us keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.

Each event will have a set number of tickets available at the early bird price. Once these are sold, standard prices will apply. This ensures we can cover event costs while keeping the festival sustainable and maintaining affordable options for our audiences.
