    Imagine the thrill of a rock concert when the whole crowd sings as one – that’s the feeling we’re bringing to the bar! Singing isn’t just joyful; it’s proven to boost wellbeing and lift your spirits. So, grab a drink, loosen up, and join us for a night of laughter, music, and connection as we belt out a medley of classic pop hits together. 

    This isn’t your typical choir experience. In a relaxed, safe space, you’ll learn songs from the ground up with a playful, interactive approach that makes everyone feel like a star. No sheet music, no pressure – just pure fun and the magic of voices blending in harmony. 

    Whether you’re a seasoned singer or a first-timer, Pop Choir at the Bar is open to everyone. Come for the music, stay for the vibe, and leave feeling amazing.

    Our pricing model

    As a non-profit, we prioritise bringing singing and music to our communities, not maximising income. We work to make our ticket prices as affordable as possible, and we’ve shifted to an early bird pricing model instead of concession pricing. This change focuses on equity, allowing everyone to secure tickets at a reduced price and helping us keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.

    Each event will have a set number of tickets available at the early bird price. Once these are sold, standard prices will apply. This ensures we can cover event costs while keeping the festival sustainable and maintaining affordable options for our audiences.

    Early bird $29

    • Early bird-priced tickets are available until the allocation sells out

    Full price $35

    Booking fee

    • For bookings with a total value of $30 or less, a booking fee of $4 will be added upon checkout.
    • For bookings with a total value between $30.01 and $199.99, a booking fee of $6 will be added upon checkout.
    • For bookings with a total value of $200 or more, a booking fee of $11 will be added upon checkout.

    FEAT. Live Solar Slice $1 per transaction

    Festival of Voices is proudly partnering with climate impact organisation FEAT. Live! $1 will be donated from every booking fee to the ‘Solar Slice’ initiative.

    This contribution will support an indigenous-led biodiversity restoration program on Lungtalanana Island, Tasmania, aiming to restore habitat for the Bass Strait Wombat and the Long-Nosed Potoroo and reintroduce these species to the island.

    Getting to the venue: 

    • The Long Gallery is on Level 2, 77 Salamanca Pl, Battery Point TAS 7004 
    • 2 accessible parking spaces are available outside ‘The Den’ on Salamanca Place. More accessible parks are located on Salamanca Place in a sectioned-off parking lot opposite the restaurant strip.
