Festival of Voices

    Mic Drop – Hobart

Celebrating young voices of emerging musical theatre talent

Celebrate the next generation of musical theatre talent in this uplifting, feel‑good showcase.

Join us for an evening of performances by high school and college‑aged singers as they take to the stage to share songs from their favourite musicals. This non‑competitive concert shines a light on emerging voices and offers young performers the chance to experience a real stage environment with lights, sound and a live audience.

You’ll hear a mix of much‑loved musical theatre numbers from both screen and stage, performed by soloists and duos who have chosen pieces that inspire, challenge or delight them. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and full of encouragement — a celebration of creativity, courage and the joy of singing.

Whether you’re supporting a young performer or simply enjoy musical theatre, this is a heart‑warming event that showcases the passion and talent of the next generation.

Come along, cheer them on and enjoy an evening of music that’s full of spirit and possibility.
