Travis Hennessy
Musician & voice coach (TAS)
A professional musician, actor and voice coach for speech, accents and singing, Travis has a BCA and MCA in Theatre (UTAS), contemporary and classical training in Voice and Piano (AMEB, Trinity College London), and a Post-Grad Diploma in voice Studies from the Victorian College of the Arts. In 2005 Travis was the recipient of the former CentrStage Theatrical Development Award, and he was twice a semi-finalist in the Tasmanian Young Achiever of the Year Award in Arts. He has also received two Tasmanian Theatre Awards for acting.
Travis believes choral singing has a unique power to bring people together, creating a sense of community and shared purpose that’s hard to find elsewhere. When voices blend, singers experience connection, emotional release, and the joy of building something greater than themselves.
