No Man’s Band

Meet No Man’s Band, Lutruwita/Tasmania’s newest and most exciting big band. Formed in July 2025, this all‑female ensemble burst onto the scene with a bold mission: to create a vibrant, welcoming space where musicians can connect, perform, and celebrate the joy of making music together.  

Although a reasonably new ensemble on the Tasmanian musical landscape, their performances are already generating significant buzz.  The band showcases entertaining big band arrangements of well-known tunes spanning a range of genres including blues, swing, funk and rock – offering something for every audience. 

With a full complement of talented wind, brass, rhythm section players and vocalists spanning a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and musical experiences, No Man’s Band delivers high-energy performances that champion both musical excellence and a powerful sense of community.
