Ben Winspear

Ben Winspear is delighted to be attached as dramaturg for the development stages of Rumpel with Amanda Hodder and Nicholas Tolputt. Having collaborated with both artists on previous works, and during the early devising week through RAWspace, he is very much looking forward to the future of this project. Ben believes absolutely in the potential of the work and in the aims of these artists, each operating at the top of their respective powers.

Rumpel signals a new and exciting direction for both Amanda and Nicholas, and Ben is thrilled to be included in the creative circle of this important new work. Alongside his involvement in Rumpel, Ben continues to build a respected practice as a director, dramaturg and performer, known for his thoughtful approach to storytelling and his commitment to supporting the development of ambitious new Australian work.
