Get Singing and help Hobart City Mission’s Winter Appeal
We believe everyone should sing.
At Festival of Voices we believe everyone should sing, it’s just so good for us as humans! When we spend so much time at work, we’ve got to always look at new ways to maintain team engagement, wellbeing and productivity. So we’ve done the work for you and created the Corporate Choir Challenge, a performance event to be held at Hobart’s Federation Concert Hall on 28 June 2021. Each member of the winning choir will get a ticket to any Festival Event plus the joy of receiving the coveted Corporate Challenge Cup!
We’ve dug into the data from across the world; businesses who have encouraged and implemented staff choirs, have seen stronger employee recruitment and retention, enhanced employee engagement, increased teamwork and leadership skills. Hurrah!! What a combination of success, good will and job satisfaction!
Registering for the Festival of Voices Corporate Choir Challenge is a really important step in looking after your collective health and wellbeing, while helping us raise funds for Tasmanian’s in need.
This year, we are raising much needed funds for our festival charity partner Hobart City Mission. With your help we can donate much needed funds for emergency relief to those Tasmanians most in need this winter.
This year, we are providing you with one of the best stages to sing, in the state. We have created a series of easily accessible online tutorials and in person rehearsal time with our wonderfully zealous Corporate Choir Coach Rachel Taylor. Then you get to perform at the prestigious Federation Concert Hall in Hobart.
In return for the registration fee, your choir will receive two months of training and the opportunity for your business to be digitally profiled across our website, e-newsletter and social media audiences. That’s a return value of nearly $3000, not a bad return on investment!
The prize? A triumphant custom designed trophy, your choice of ticket to any of our events (1 ticket per choir member) and the glory of gloating to all your colleagues.
WHEN IS THE COMPETITION?
7pm Monday 28 June at Federation Concert Hall, Hobart

Any business can register to take part. We welcome office teams, government departments, frontline workers, tradies, councils, banks, politicians, hospitality workers, broadcasters, teachers – you can get creative and combine businesses.
