    A powerhouse line‑up celebrating women’s voices, stories and song

    Join an extraordinary group of artists for an evening that honours women’s voices, their stories and the wisdom gained through lived experience. Older. Wiser. Louder. brings together some of Australia’s most acclaimed performers as they revisit songs that have shaped them, pieces that speak to love, loss, ambition, courage and the lessons learned along the way.

    Featuring Casey Donovan, Gorgi Coghlan, Anna‑Lee Robertson, Amanda Hodder, Prof. Deborah Cheetham Fraillon AO, Jean Stafford, Maria Lurighi and Xani Kolac, a lineup whose collective achievements span award‑winning recording careers, celebrated stage performances, groundbreaking creative leadership and decades of artistic excellence.

    With honesty, warmth and unmistakable vocal power, these exceptional women create a night where music and storytelling sit side‑by‑side. Expect moments that spark joy, stir emotion and leave you reflecting on everything we come to understand as life unfolds.

    Our pricing model

    As a non-profit, we prioritise bringing singing and music to our communities, not maximising income. We work to make our ticket prices as affordable as possible, and we’ve shifted to an early bird pricing model instead of concession pricing. This change focuses on equity, allowing everyone to secure tickets at a reduced price and helping us keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.

    Each event will have a set number of tickets available at the early bird price. Once these are sold, standard prices will apply. This ensures we can cover event costs while keeping the festival sustainable and maintaining affordable options for our audiences.

    Booking fee

    • For bookings with a total value of $30 or less, a booking fee of $4 will be added upon checkout.
    • For bookings with a total value between $30.01 and $199.99, a booking fee of $6 will be added upon checkout.
    • For bookings with a total value of $200 or more, a booking fee of $11 will be added upon checkout.

    FEAT. Live Solar Slice $1 per transaction

    Festival of Voices is proudly partnering with climate impact organisation FEAT. Live! $1 will be donated from every booking fee to the ‘Solar Slice’ initiative.

    This contribution will support an indigenous-led biodiversity restoration program on Lungtalanana Island, Tasmania, aiming to restore habitat for the Bass Strait Wombat and the Long-Nosed Potoroo and reintroduce these species to the island.

    The project is led by the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre and supported by GreenCollar, WWF, and FEAT. Live. You can read more info on this project here.

    • Drop off car spaces are available at the entrance to the Theatre Royal on Collins Street. 
    • 2 accessible parking spaces are available outside the Theatre Royal on Collins Street (1 hour time limit applies)
