    Vivid

    Electronic & funk band (TAS)

Vivid brings an energetic fusion of house, funk and playful mischief to every stage they step onto. Loud, proud and irresistibly danceable, this hyperactive disco-driven outfit doesn’t just perform, they unleash full‑blown electronic tantrums designed to get audiences moving.

Formed a little over a year ago, Vivid has quickly become a standout presence in Tasmania’s music scene. Their uplifting sound is built to spark joy, with lyrics and grooves crafted to fire up the heart while delivering enough funk to inspire a serious stank face.

In their short time together, Vivid have already performed at Junction Arts Festival, Great Escape and Party in the Paddock, and celebrated their debut album launch with a special appearance from their UK idols, Crazy P.

The project is powered by two local Tasmanian artists, Hugo Bladel and Kate Bain, who write and create all music for the band. Together, they channel big beats, bright energy and an infectious sense of fun into a live experience that’s impossible to resist.
