    Isle Two

    Musical duo (TAS)

Isle Two are a Tasmanian duo creating music that feels both deeply personal and strikingly original. Emerging from the quiet edges of the island, they craft songs that refuse to sit neatly within any single genre—an approach that has already shaped their reputation as artists unafraid to explore new ground.

Formed by Joe Vere and Jasper Szypura, the pair draw on a wide mix of influences, channelling them into a sound that is warm, honest and unmistakably their own. Their debut single, “Penny,” released via Vere Records, questions the very idea of the “perfect person” and the pressure to live up to imagined ideals. It’s a reflective and compelling introduction to who they are as artists, and to where they are heading next.

Jasper brings a background in genre‑blending production and composition, having developed his sound through independent releases on SoundCloud and earlier work featured on triple j Unearthed as a young Tasmanian artist. His evolving sonic experimentation adds depth to Isle Two’s musical identity, while Joe’s vocal presence grounds their work with clarity and emotional focus.

Together, Isle Two are crafting a catalogue defined by thoughtful storytelling and atmospheric detail. With more music on the way, “Penny” marks only the starting point of a project with strong creative momentum, and a growing place within lutruwita/Tasmania’s contemporary music scene.
