    Scott Targett

    Musician, songwriter & producer (TAS)

    Scott Targett is a Hobart-based musician, songwriter, and producer, specialising in live keyboards and original compositions. He began learning music at an early age and completed a degree in music, focusing on jazz, classical theory, performance, and arranging.

    Scott has been performing professionally for most of his life. In 2007, his Melbourne band, Dukes of Windsor, reached the top of the Australian ARIA charts, staying in the top 50 for 20 consecutive weeks and producing the ARIA #1 club song of the year. He is also a member of Hobart indie-rock band Lennon Wells, produces and performs as ROBOTIKUS, and brings his musicianship to The Beatles Show, renowned for its faithful and heartfelt tributes to the Beatles’ catalogue.

    As a musical director, Scott has curated shows for festivals and worked alongside iconic Australian artists such as Shane Howard (Goanna), Mike Noga (The Drones), and Glenn Richards (Augie March). As a studio session musician, he has contributed to recordings spanning Afro-beat, folk, country, soul, and lo-fi instrumental styles. Scott is also a touring member of Golden Guitar-winning band the Wolfe Brothers.
