Festival of Voices

    Mic Drop – Launceston Registrations

A chance for young performers to share the songs they love

Love to sing? This is your moment.

Festival of Voices invites young singers aged 5 to 14 to step onto the stage and perform a song of their choice at a fun, supportive live concert. Participants can appear as soloists, in duos or small groups, as part of a choir, or as a band. All genres are welcome, including pop, musical theatre, country, classical and rock, as long as the song is suitable for a family audience. This is an opportunity to perform your song in your own way.

This event is designed for young people who simply want to sing without the pressure of competition. It offers an encouraging and welcoming environment that celebrates young voices and gives performers the chance to experience the excitement of a real concert with lights, a stage and an audience. Whether it is your first time performing or you already love being on stage, this is a safe, positive place to build confidence and enjoy making music.

Festival of Voices encourages First Nations, culturally and linguistically diverse young people to apply.
