A community celebration of song and local talent
Join us for a cosy and joy-filled evening of music as the South Arm community takes to the stage for South Arm Sings! Hosted by much‑loved local musician, choir director and community leader Betsy Hanson, this gathering brings together singers of all ages and abilities for a night of harmony, connection and local talent.
Featuring performances from the South Arm Songsters, Fake Snake Pancake, Lisa and her family band, the Kitchen Table Collective, That 80’s Trio and the newly formed Calverton Hall Choir, the event celebrates the many voices that make this community vibrant.
Betsy’s long-standing work with Tasmanian choirs and community music programs has helped thousands of people find confidence and joy through singing. Her warm leadership style, engaging teaching and ability to bring people together make her the perfect host for this uplifting evening.
Alongside the programmed performances, the night will also include a welcoming blackboard segment. Anyone in the audience can add their name to the list and take the stage for a song – offering a relaxed, supportive platform for newcomers, regular performers and anyone feeling inspired in the moment.
All ages are welcome at this family friendly event!
