Festival of Voices

    Salty Singalong

Raise your voice, and your glass!

Led by Chris Blain and supported by the fabulous voices of Men In Suits, this high-energy session invites everyone, seasoned singers and complete beginners alike, to come together through music in a relaxed pub setting. You’ll be guided step-by-step the whole way, learning the harmony parts first before uniting the room in song.

Through playful warm-ups, a touch of silliness, and plenty of social interaction, Chris will have you using your voice, your body and your breath in ways that feel freeing, uplifting and a whole lot of fun.

Arrive early or linger after to enjoy some relaxed pop-up performances and singalongs and keep the tunes rolling.  This family-friendly event welcomes singers of all ages, with children under 5 admitted free, provided an under 5 ticket has been obtained.

All you need to do is show up ready to sing. Just great people, great music, and a fantastic afternoon out at The Salty Dog Hotel.

As this is an outdoor event, make sure to rug up!

Please note this is an all-weather event. We will go ahead if it rains, and bad weather does not warrant a refund on event tickets.

    Our pricing model

As a non-profit, we prioritise bringing singing and music to our communities, not maximising income. We work to make our ticket prices as affordable as possible, and we’ve shifted to an early bird pricing model instead of concession pricing. This change focuses on equity, allowing everyone to secure tickets at a reduced price and helping us keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.

Each event will have a set number of tickets available at the early bird price. Once these are sold, standard prices will apply. This ensures we can cover event costs while keeping the festival sustainable and maintaining affordable options for our audiences.
