Mosaic Community Choir
Mixed voice choir (VIC)
Mosaic Community Choir is an inclusive, non-auditioned ensemble committed to fostering connection, wellbeing, and artistic expression through choral singing. Since its establishment in 2012, the choir has provided a welcoming space for people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of musical experience to share in the collective joy of music-making. A number of founding members remain active today, reflecting the strong sense of continuity and community that lies at the heart of the choir.
With a current membership of around 80 choristers, Mosaic presents an engaging and varied repertoire that spans musical styles, cultures, and traditions. The choir performs regularly at local concerts and community events, contributing to the cultural life of the region while creating opportunities for singers to develop their skills, confidence, and musicianship in a supportive environment.
Over the years, Mosaic has benefited from the leadership of several dedicated musical directors, each of whom has enriched the ensemble’s growth and artistic direction. The choir is presently led by Musical Director Ellery Durrant, with accompaniment by Jeff Heath. Their expertise, enthusiasm, and collaborative approach continue to inspire the choir to achieve high musical standards while maintaining the spirit of enjoyment and inclusivity that defines Mosaic Community Choir.
