Mixed voice choir (SA)
La La Land Choir was formed in 2016 by leader Carol Young as a way for people to get together, have a great sing, commune and laugh.
A non-auditioned mixed choir, they have performed in The Events with State Theatre Company of South Australia, Memorial with Brink Theatre Company, A Symphony of Angels with The Angels and Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and worked extensively with Michaela Burger in her award-winning show A Migrant’s Son.
With a membership sitting at around 50, La La Land are excited that about a third of the choir can visit Hobart for Festival of Voices for the second time, having previously participated in 2019 with A Migrant’s Son.
You’ll mostly hear them singing popular songs, but they have a go at anything!
