    Trevor Jones is one of Australia’s leading piano bar entertainers and cabaret performers. He was the 2025 recipient of the Green Room Award for Contribution to Cabaret and was awarded the Brian Stacey Award for Emerging Australian Conductors in 2011. Most recently, Trevor was musical director and performer for the critically acclaimed, sold-out season of Pirates of Penzance at the Hayes Theatre, Sydney. He has performed cabaret shows to great acclaim in venues around Australia including Downstairs at the Maj (Perth), Chapel off Chapel (Melbourne), The Butterfly Club (Melbourne), La Boheme (Adelaide) and Slide (Sydney) with his shows ‘By Chance’, ‘Move On’, ‘Trevor Jones in Sticky Situations’, ‘Kollision’ and sold out seasons of ‘Still Standing – A Tribute to the Great Piano Men’ and ‘Under The Milky Way – Trevor Jones sings the Great Australian Songbook’. Trevor’s performances bring a unique blend of humour, story-telling and song.  

    Trevor performs regularly in piano bars and festivals around Australia playing everything by request, ranging from standards and show tunes, classic rock and pop songs, right through to modern hits. He has traveled internationally as a piano bar entertainer and, until recently, could be regularly seen as a guest entertainer on P&O Cruise Lines. Other highlights include an 10 year residency at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, piano bars at Adelaide Fringe Festival, long standing residencies at The Butterfly Club in Melbourne and DooBop bar in Brisbane, major theatre tours around China and performing as a part of the World Busker’s Festival in Christchurch, New Zealand.  When not performing, Trevor is also an award-winning musical director and conductor in musical theatre and opera and holds a PhD in musical theatre from the University of Melbourne.
