Next Gen Voices

Registration includes a two-hour interactive singing workshop with David Squire and the Auckland Youth Choir.  Teachers and supervisors of school groups will be admitted for no additional fee.  Participation certificates for singers and professional development certificates for teachers are available on request.

School and community youth choirs are encouraged to register, along with individuals who are keen to enjoy a group singing experience.  This workshop is designed for high school and college students, offering an engaging and age-appropriate environment and repertoire. 

This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for singers to develop vocal skills, sing alongside like-minded friends, and experience the excitement of performing as part of a larger community.  Participants will discover the connection and shared energy that comes from making music together in an inspiring, confidence-boosting experience that celebrates the joy of singing.

As a non-profit, we prioritise bringing singing and music to our communities, not maximising income. We work to make our ticket prices as affordable as possible, and we’ve shifted to an early bird pricing model instead of concession pricing. This change focuses on equity, allowing everyone to secure tickets at a reduced price and helping us keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.

Each event will have a set number of tickets available at the early bird price. Once these are sold, standard prices will apply. This ensures we can cover event costs while keeping the festival sustainable and maintaining affordable options for our audiences.
