    A fun workshop for young singers with the dynamic Paul Jarman!

    Get ready to sing, learn and be inspired! 

    Join celebrated composer, conductor and musical storyteller Paul Jarman for Jammin’ with Jarms, a 90-minute workshop that celebrates the joy and power of young voices. 

    Aimed at singers aged approximately 10 to 13, this lively and uplifting session will explore rhythm, harmony and the thrill of singing as a united, vibrant group.  Participants will experience the excitement of blending their voices and making music together in a fun, welcoming atmosphere. 

    Paul is an internationally acclaimed musician known for his infectious energy, his passion for inspiring young singers and his unique ability to bring out the best in every performer.  His workshops are full of laughter, learning and moments of musical magic that stay with participants long afterwards. 

    Whether you’re coming as part of a school group or joining in on your own, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn from one of Australia’s most inspiring musicians in a fun and supportive setting.

    What's included in registration?

    Registration includes a 90-minute interactive singing workshop with Paul Jarman and a participation certificate. Teachers and supervisors of school groups will be admitted for no additional fee. 

    Who should register?

    School and community youth choirs are encouraged to register, along with individuals who are keen to enjoy a group singing experience. This workshop is designed for middle to upper primary and middle school students, offering an engaging and age-appropriate environment for young voices. 

    Why participate?

    This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for young singers to develop vocal skills, sing alongside like-minded friends, and experience the excitement of performing as part of a larger community. Under Paul’s guidance, participants will discover the connection and shared energy that comes from making music together in an inspiring, confidence-boosting experience that celebrates the joy of singing.

    Patron advice

    Please note: Festival of Voices does not provide supervision of children 15 years and younger. All children requiring supervision must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times and may be refused admission or attendance if not accompanied by an adult who is also registered for this workshop.

    Registrations

    $10 per singer, capped at $150 per school group (up to 30 students)

    Booking fee

    • For bookings with a total value of $30 or less, a booking fee of $4 will be added upon checkout.
    • For bookings with a total value between $30.01 and $199.99, a booking fee of $6 will be added upon checkout.
    • For bookings with a total value of $200 or more, a booking fee of $11 will be added upon checkout.

    FEAT. Live Solar Slice $1 per transaction

    Festival of Voices is proudly partnering with climate impact organisation FEAT. Live! $1 will be donated from every booking fee to the ‘Solar Slice’ initiative.

    This contribution will support an indigenous-led biodiversity restoration program on Lungtalanana Island, Tasmania, aiming to restore habitat for the Bass Strait Wombat and the Long-Nosed Potoroo and reintroduce these species to the island.
