    AC/DC Choir Workshop

A high energy rock choir experience!

For those about to rock … we salute you!

It’s Tasmania meets Thunderstruck in this weekend intensive workshop where singers will learn and perform an iconic AC/DC medley, transforming participants into a powerhouse rock chorus!

Join the dynamic Darina Chakarova, whose unstoppable energy will have you letting loose and singing your heart out with these high-voltage rock anthems. Think bold voices, electric sounds, buckets of attitude and a room buzzing with full-throttle energy.

Across two electrifying days, you’ll dive headfirst into the anthemic sound of one of Australia’s greatest bands. Together, you’ll explore what it takes to capture the spirit of AC/DC with confidence, blend and attitude – all while having an absolute blast.

Whether you’re a shower singer or a seasoned performer, you’ll leave this workshop belting, buzzing and grinning from ear to ear. No experience needed – just enthusiasm and a love of legendary rock!

With thanks to Burwood Council (NSW) for rocking out with us and allowing the use of their commissioned AC/DC medley for this workshop.

I can’t wait to bring the AC/DC Choir to life at Festival of Voices 2026! There’s something electric about the magic we create when voices come together – where every chord connects us and every beat brings joy. I believe everyone has a voice worth hearing, and I’m passionate about empowering people to find their sound, build confidence, and embrace the thrill of singing in harmony. Get ready to be thunderstruck as we unleash our inner rockstars, lift each other up, and make something loud, proud, and full of heart!

    Testimonials

Learning the AC/DC medley was an absolute thrill. As a die-hard fan who’s seen the band live a number of times , diving into this collection of epic songs was amazing. Every riff, every beat, every lyric carried the raw energy and rebellious spirit that makes AC/DC legendary—and getting to bring that to life in 3-part harmony was electric.

It wasn’t just about singing the songs—it was about feeling them.

From the first rehearsal, there was a buzz in the room. We weren’t just learning music; we were channelling decades of rock history. The medley gave us a chance to unleash our inner rockstars, and the camaraderie that grew through the process made it even more powerful.

It was loud, it was bold, and it was unforgettable.

    Our pricing model

As a non-profit, we prioritise bringing singing and music to our communities, not maximising income. We work to make our ticket prices as affordable as possible, and we’ve shifted to an early bird pricing model instead of concession pricing. This change focuses on equity, allowing everyone to secure tickets at a reduced price and helping us keep the festival accessible to as many people as possible.

Each event will have a set number of tickets available at the early bird price. Once these are sold, standard prices will apply. This ensures we can cover event costs while keeping the festival sustainable and maintaining affordable options for our audiences.
