    Vika & Linda

    Iconic Australian vocal duo

Known for their signature harmonies, Melbourne’s Bull sisters, Vika & Linda, have enjoyed a remarkable career since their church singing days. Their musical journey began in the 1980s with The Honeymooners and continued with The Black Sorrows, where they helped propel hits like Chained To The Wheel. They later embarked on their own successful solo careers, releasing eight studio albums, two live albums, and a chart-topping anthology.

Their impact extends beyond album sales: they’ve sung on iconic records by Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers, John Farnham, and more. They’ve also performed for the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela, and the King of Tonga, and were nominated for six ARIA Awards. In 2022, Vika & Linda received the Medal of the Order of Australia for their service to the performing arts.

The sisters’ career milestones include a Special Recognition Award at the Pacific Music Awards, induction into the Music Victoria Hall of Fame, and a chart-topping anthology, Akilotoa. In 2021, they released The Wait, their first album of original material in 19 years, which debuted at number two on the ARIA charts.

With a career spanning over three decades, Vika & Linda continue to thrive, blending rock, country, gospel, reggae, and soul while staying true to their Tongan heritage. Their performances are legendary, earning accolades from fans and fellow musicians alike. “Their beauty, talent, and virtuosity is irrefutable,” says James Reyne, while Paul Kelly describes their voices as “salty-sweet” and perfectly matched.

Vika & Linda’s music and storytelling prowess have made them not just performers but treasures in Australian music, constantly evolving while staying grounded in the rich traditions that first inspired them.
