Songs by women & about women, sung in a place steeped with a remarkable history. Join us for a free Pop-Up concert like no other!

Hobart’s own a cappella songbirds, The Clementines, present a heart-felt and thoughtful collection of songs to pay homage to the convict women who lived and died at the Cascades Female Factory.

Weaving together a beautiful repertoire of folk tunes and originals, including So Far Away, composed especially for this event, The Clementines reflect on the history of the heritage-listed historic site through song. Touching on themes of displacement, loss and courage, they celebrate the power and resilience of women through time.

Combine this musical experience with a Heritage Tour or Her Story dramatic tour for a truly memorable day out.
