Sing with an award-winning, vibrant ensemble!
Join us to sing a range of music styles in four-part harmony alongside Adelaide’s acclaimed Festival Statesmen, led by their Musical Director Jonathan Bligh. No music reading experience is necessary, just come along and have a good supportive sing with both experienced and novice singers side by side.

Getting to the venue:
- The Long Gallery is on Level 2, 77 Salamanca Pl, Battery Point TAS 7004
- 2 accessible parking spaces are available outside ‘The Den’ on Salamanca Place. More accessible parks are located on Salamanca Place in a sectioned-off parking lot opposite the restaurant strip.

- The Long Gallery is accessible on Level 2 via the lift located in the Salamanca Arts Centre Courtyard.

Formed in April 2009 by Jonathan Bligh, The Festival Statesmen is a dynamic male voice a cappella group. With repertoire ranging from Contemporary to Classical, the chorus exists to provide a platform for Adelaide singers to achieve vocal and performance excellence.

Jonathan is currently studying a Master of Music at the Westminster Choir College (Princeton, USA) and has a Bachelor of Music (Elder Conservatorium, Adelaide), Graduate Diploma of Education (University of Adelaide)
and a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (London).
Jonathan was Head of Vocal Studies at The Scots College (Sydney) and previously worked as a senior music teacher in the Selective Entry Performing Arts Program at Charles Campbell Secondary School (Adelaide).
In his spare time he enjoys restoring classic cars and naps on the couch.
