Saturday Night with Swoon
8 July 2023 | 8:00PM | From $32 | 8:00PM | Theatre Royal: Studio Theatre
What better way to wrap up the festival than with a party?
Spice up your life with the vintage jazz stylings of Swoon and their sizzling band for a fun night of all the best party tunes, including P!NK, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Bananarama and more!
The Andrews Sisters meets the Spice Girls in this time-travelling shindig, all with Swoon’s signature harmonies and plenty of glamour. Let’s get this party started!
“It was a joy to see Nicole Farrow, Allison Farrow and Blythe Tait in their debut of Swoon. All three are outstanding solo performers, compelling, strong and so highly skilled. What we get to hear much less often is the wonderful blend of tight harmonies that they shared last night, the result of superb musicianship and what I know is lots of very hard work. Beautiful voices, expertly balanced.” – Petr Divis, performer, musical director and producer at The Show Company
“These three women are extremely talented and highly experienced performers. I was very pleased when I heard that they had decided to work together. I’m so looking forward to the great entertainment that they will bring to Tasmania.” – Christine Bailey OAM, Committee member and Life Member Hobart Jazz Club, Coordinator Hobart Jazz Festival, Programmer Longford Jazz Festival
