Improvisation is not only for Jazz Singers…

Helen Todd is a Tasmanian-based voice coach with many years of experience helping people to explore and improve their voices, both spoken and sung. In this workshop she will show you that improvisation can be so much more eclectic than traditional jazz perceptions, and will help you master the skill, sharing her personal toolbox of tips and tricks gathered from a careers’ worth of knowledge.

"We improvise without voices, we don’t organise anything ahead of time — maybe a few cues, that’s it,” Todd said. “The critical issue, really, is listening."
